VOICE

Enchanted by the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea scenery!

Chiba Prefecture,
female, 40s
This year I boarded the ship earlier than last year, so I was able to stay on board for a longer time, which was very satisfying. What I was most looking forward to was going under the three bridges in daytime while awake, rather than in the middle of the night.

It was very beautiful and it reminded me of the daytime ferry from Beppu to Osaka that I took 45 years ago.

I took this cruise because I wanted to see the beauty of the islands praised by Westerners like Von Siebold and Von Richthofen. The islands, each one different from the other, and the evening light were beyond my expectations!

I was moved to see the sun set off the coast of Osaki Shimojima from the Kurushima Strait! Also, when our ship overtook a cargo ship at 22 knots, I thought it deserved the moniker "Express of the Sea" (very fast!)

The ship did not rock at all, and while taking in the beautiful scenery, I was even able to enjoy a Takarazuka Revue performance, a violin concert and even take a bath…! What a great day.

I was particularly impressed by the reasonable price and the hospitable attitude and service level of the staff!
