Meals are an essential part of a cruise. This year, all passengers will receive lunch boxes carefully selected by our staff with a particular focus on quality. Enjoy special lunchtime moments in an atmosphere of freedom unique to sea voyages with our special bento boxes (whose contents vary depending on the route).

• Lunch bento boxes (including tea) are included in the boarding fee.

These boxes, a veritable feast for the eyes too, are made with copious amounts of different ingredients depending on the time of year, and are filled with the delicate flavors of seasonal ingredients.

This special bento from Marumiya, a long-established catering company that makes Oita proud, uses plenty of fresh local ingredients from Oita, continuing the tradition of the original "Murasaki Maru" cruise ship.
Fresh seafood from the Bungo Channel and seasonal vegetables grown in the local fertile soil.
The rich flavor of Oita spreading in your mouth will give you the warm feeling of having just returned home for a meal.
Enjoy delicious local ingredients while taking in the beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.

For dinner, we offer a buffet of local dishes and ingredients found along the Seto Inland Sea route. Enjoy them while taking in the ocean views. For breakfast, we offer both Western and Japanese breakfast dishes. Welcome the new day aboard in the sun-filled restaurant.
